So how do you guys feel about me saying, that if can, I like to support Black owned businesses, because there aren't that many.

Unless reporting someone to the FBI counts as "aiding and abetting" I don't agree.

Have the idiots said why exactly they want to kill Planned Parenthood? Is it because they claim most of Planned Parenthood's budget goes towards abortion, (which is not true)? I was watching Bill Mahr last night and the conservative on his panel said that originally the Tea Bagger movement claimed to be about money, budget issues, taxes. But the PP show down over the federal budget shows that they also have a social agenda.
If they are truly worried about paying for welfare, you'd think they'd be thrilled if the low income families were popping out less babies by means of contraception...

Canada was well aware of who they were voting for. It's not like the conservatives are a new party gaining power. Harper has been there for a while. All the small businesses I know in my area voted conservative because they knew the liberals and NDP were going to attempt gutting them.

I think this new feature is genius! Whats better than scrolling through status updates just to see that your friend may be just down the road at the local pub?

- This is a great take on Foursquare, despite Foursquare being the better of the two, as Facebook obviously has a lot more users! I'll definitely be using Places as soon as it's rolled out to the UK.

It isn't that they miscalculated the rise of digital, as miscalculations happen in business, it is the silly decision they made that resulted in the company divesting itself of businesses that had a future. The point is you can miscalculate a bit when it comes to how rapid you core tech will become useless but your planning should recognize that is going to happen and that you need to grow in a different direction. Instead Kodak shrunk itself down around a dying business.

The iPhone 4 sported twice the RAM of the iPad. Perhaps the iPhone 5 also sports more RAM than the iPad 2.
In fact, maybe that's part of the reason for the push to September. To put more distance between the iPad and the iPhone so that iPad owners don't feel like their product is playing second fiddle to the iPhone (which it is).

Frequently, I find the modem also has nothing set. Changing to any known DNS server speeds things up. You probably already did this years ago, you are a geek, no?
I agree, I never said anything about Google DNS or to not include some thought in the process. What I said is most people have a mess that should be addressed. Whenever I see, "internet is slow", I think, "check your DNS".

Even if the modem has nothing set, it is receiving it's settings via DHCP from the ISP. If DNS truly weren't set at all....there would be no DNS resolution and no internet surfing. Just do an ipconfig/all at a command prompt (windows) to see the DNS server provided by your ISP.

I certainly don't consider myself to be "normal" in regards to my computing needs, but the iPad has been a very welcome addition to my electronics landscape.
It excels at casual uses and has all but replaced my laptop for my traveling needs.
That said, there are times when you just need a 'real' machine to get things done.

EF-S lenses are EF mount lenses that have a smaller element in the rear of the lens that works ONLY on 1.6 crop sensor EF-S Canon cameras. With this design, the glass elements can be smaller and lighter than their EF counterparts, but are only compatible with the 1.6 crop sensor cameras. Design wise, the rear element is placed closer to the sensor than EF lenses.
DO NOT use an EF-S lens on a 1.3 crop sensor (1D series cameras) or on a Full Frame 1.0 sensor (1Ds or 5D series cameras), as the rear element of the lens will interfere with the operation of the reflex mirror and may/ will cause damage to your camera.

Well I'm in and I have my family pack. I have to say though, the organisation of this release was atrocious. There were no barriers and loads of people pushed in without the staff doing anything about them. Even when they opened the doors, one guy who turned up 10 minutes before launch managed to get to pretty much the front of the queue. Elbows were needed.

Because then everyone else will do the same and your exports will suffer. Additionally its illegal under WTO rules.

Interesting thought though. His rejection said it was for ridiculing public figures, but their policy rejects defamatory material. There is certainly a fine line, but the line most certainly exists. You can ridicule someone till the cows come home without engaging in defamation. The distinction is probably too difficult for anyone without extensive legal background to make on a regular basis and in a timely manner.
Apple should just drop the defamation clause, which may be difficult for them to do to.

Yeah no thanks. Are you going to tax just individuals or corporations too? Taxing corporations that deliver goods would raise the costs of everything from milk to televisions.
