Am in the same situation with my employer
He is doing a direct deposit on to my account and not sharing the paystubs and everytime when i follow up him with paystubs he is saying all cock&bull stories saying that HR is busy with other stuff and cannot do it at this point.
Its been 3 months he is delaying this.
Previoulsy I was receiving my paystbs regularly and all it started is after my H1 renewal and am need to change my employer now and other company is asking for the latest 3 months paystubs for the H1 transfer.
and my employr is thretening for the original H1 B doc and he says that he needs it for companys reference.
Please let me know whome to contact and how to contact and how to get this things done in gettign my paystubs.

I consulted an Immigration Attorney about this last week and she said getting laid off and being unemployed while 485 approval is pending should be ok. She told me that I have to have a Job with similar Job description and the pay mentioned in the Labor Certification by the time my 485 is ready to be approved

I am on H1B and finishing 6 yrs in Jan 2008 and my employer never applied LC. My wife is on H4 and her LC is approved.
We are applying 140, 485, 765 for my wife. I and my daughter applying 485 and 765. So our status will be on EAD.
I have another daughter aged below 14 so can not apply 765.
My questions are:
1. After the expliry of my H1B, wife's H4, Kids' H4, what will be our status?
2. What will be status for my daughter aged below 14 yrs.
I am filing my own due to lack of fund, pl. help gurus!!!

You very well know the implications of raking up such sensational threads and if you do not, you should, going forward. Nothing personal bro. And hope your situation improves.
Also, if it helps here's my story: I'm a 4.0 GPA grad from one of the best univs in the US. I have been in this country for 12 years now with more than 10 years of work experience. However, my title still says that I'm a programmer. Sucks right? Yeah, others around us will grow, prosper and succeed in life. Feels bad to be in our shoes. This is a choice that each one of us has made. However, that does not mean we vent out our frustrations on a public forum. Even if we do, we should use proper means. My 2c :)

I compared the 485 inventories from 12/11/09 and the one on 10/1/10, released by USCIS. The net difference (approved) for EB3I is approx 1320, cleared mostly for the 2001 PDs. Don't know what happened to rest of the visa numbers ( ~ 1500) out of the mandated ~2800 for EB3I.

Can people share their experience with same day counter passport collection from the vfs courier center at Chennai.
Reason I ask is, I and my wife have a 9AM appointment on 14th August. And Aug 15th being a holiday on account of India's Independence Day. Since we have to be in US on the 16th August to file for I485, getting the visa on the 16th would be too late. Therefore, it's critical that we collect the passport the same day.
Is anyone else in a similar situation? Should I inform the consular of our same night travel plans or is that ill-advised?

Same day passport collection - you gotta be lucky to get it on the same day.
Passports arrive at VFS in batches every 2 hours or so, in general, you get it the next day, you maybe lucky and get it the same day.
You have to wait from 2 to 4 pm at VFS office for passports to arrive in Alwarpet.

There is absolutely no reason to fear. I also work for a TARP recipient. In January, I received a 3 year extension beyond the 6th year.
I went to Toronto last week for my H1B stamping. At no point of time, did anyone ask about TARP or any ramifications related to it. All talk of no H1B extensions beyond 6 years is absolutely false. Also, I can't imagine the BofA case rejection to be true either.
