So Samsung believed Apple was violating it's patents all this time but decided to do nothing about it. Now that they have been pushed they decide to act. Sounds to me they are trying to find whatever they can to bite back at Apple.

I'm wondering how to access your battery information through cocoa (such as your battery percentage, time remaining). I know that on iOS you access it through UIDevice, but I cannot think of an equivalent one for OS X, does anyone know?

So get the insurance for peace of mind. I'm sure you've spent more than $9 on worse things before. If you pack it well enough, technically you won't need it, but there's always the chance of loss/theft. Even that can't be prevented by good packaging.

What percentage of iPhone users are on Verizon (world wide)? Serious question, because I don't see how Verizon getting the iPhone 4 has anything to do with an iPhone 5 release date. I really doubt 4g will be coming with the next iPhone. Everyone seems to think Verizon and its customers have some sort of power over apple. Wasn't an issue for the rest of the world and all the carriers and customers that got iPhones mid-cycle between the 3GS and 4.

That release could easily have been guided through strategic corporate planning... for LTE... for Verizon... for market saturation & adoption... there are a lot of variables to think about.

In the U.S., 4G is not adopted entirely, and I am talking about true 4G. Verizon will be the first network. Sprint does not have 4G data capabilities, it is a mere marketing ploy - they have WiMax. And then, if you get into countries, and their adoption(s) of LTE, then you are even more focused on your marketplace, and all the variable costs within production & sales.

It was funny to me when this started and people were talking about jailbreaking and making it so this file could not be written.
People were actually willing to make their phones not work properly because of their ignorance and paranoia.
By the way I missing the part were Jobs said this was an oversight on Apple's part. From the part quoted here, it essentially says, working as intended.
Whether there was good intent or not, I'm just thankful I installed untrackerd from Cydia; it continuously wipes the location file. JB FTW!

The original link is dead and searching the seller's past auctions yields no iphone auctions...only a fugly handbag he used when he was crossdressing. My guess is that you will be covered and get the Unlimited Mobile to Any Mobile (just as the person above is on his family plan which is no longer offered).
Just wondering, are you paying more or less than the 900 Nation Plan ($59.99) for the 1350 plan which you are grandfathered in to?

I just looked. I am paying $20 more than the 900 plan & $10 more than the unlimited plan. :eek: I believe I am going to lower it to the 900 & lose the 11,200 rollover minutes that I will never use. At one time I was using the 1350 a month, but I no longer have a need for it.
