You can create a new account with a new email address and then use that to point to the same case numbers. This would be the best approach if you don't have the contact numbers.

and when the processing dates move forward, the pd will retrogress. they will find ways to scr** this way or that.
I think processing dates only matters about if you can do SR. It doesn't matter if they are going to adjust your I-485. The reason I think this way is based on processing date for EAD and AP. Myself and many people got EAD or AP and our dates are no where close to the date list on processing center. So I think processing center date not really matters if they have your case in hand and ready to adjust.
Maybe when the boss at USCIS thinks CSR are bored, they will adavnce the date to keep them busy with SR.

Just ask yourself some questions & read some IMP information before apply for DL in USA.
1) You said you have International DL.
Do you know the driving…?
How confident are you in driving…?
Apologies for asking this question to you. Because one of my friend’s family had a bad experience with International DL. My friend wife brought International DL and went to DMV in Colorado and the Colorado state people issue the DL without having Road Test. They just took Paper Test. But she doesn’t know how to drive the car. And when she learn driving in Wal-Mart parking lot she met with the accident (Thank god no human effected in that accident. just $2000 for repairs)
2) Are you willing to spend at least 3 hours driving classes from Driving School…?
Better to spend some $$$ on Driving school, Even you are perfect in driving in your country.
3) Are you looking for MVA who do not offer Road Test on International DL…?
Do not consider the people advices like “Go there…MVA people kind of liberal in some Driving mistakes”. You know…DL is not a Green Card or some immigration benefit that you should get it immediately. You should at least 99.99% perfect in driving particularly in Highway in USA. Otherwise you and other people will be in big jeopardy while you drive the car.
Hope this gives you a better picture on DL in USA.

What can we ask for-
1) Portability for all cases where I - 140 is approved for 180 days, and the co. is unable to file for 485 because of retrogression.
2) ability to maintain priority dates incase labor is filed for more than 365 days and the employee is forced to change jobs - even though the i 140 is not approved because of delays at the BPCs
3) I guess asking for an EAD incase I-140 is approved for 180 days will be too much?

lets hope that the administration actually implements what it says it wants to do ...
reducing the waiting times for background checks will help ....so that most adjustment apps will move to the "recommend approval" stage quickly and just wait for the Visa numbers to be current......

CIR could not even get passed in 06 . 07 and right now economy is down so no hope for it. May be Obama wants to keep hope alive in Hispanic Voters so dems can win election in Nov 2010. Health Care is lagging behind schedule and it is very hard for him to press. How can people support CIR....?
also Hispanic caucus will not allow piecemeal until CIR fails. So I don't see even little ray of hope for recapture. Now left over is admin fixes. God knows what can be done under admin fixes..

I was also taken aback initially when I read this. The 8 year wait doesnt apply to title 5. Title 5 already is designed to clear the backlog of EB immigration from 6 years to 0/at best minimum since quota is increased and there are exemptions. The 8 year backlog refers to family based.

I am aware of that backlog but just want to apply as a backup. I just want to know if applying for I 130 while I 140 is approved is there any conflict ?

The option you suggested is best I know but what if I can not do so. (Option of going to canada and then taking up new job on EAD)

I know one can do a re instatment of h1b as long as the h1b is VALID. For example if an applicant's h1b expires in SEP 2011 and he/she joins a co. on EAD today 10th April 2008 but then gets fired on April 15 2009 or his/her GC is denied for w/e reason then he/she can go file for reinstatment of h1b but will have to leave USA and get stamping of h1b from Canda/mexico/home country........

The lobbying firm might help us with a few pointers, but getting an appointment should not be affected by that.
It would be Much easier to know our material and then get an appointment. Say we get an appointment for an earlier date, and we're not ready, it's not going to look very professional. We'll probably have one shot at this, let's do it right.
